Lambert’s debut, For Your Entertainment, doesn’t feature Timberlake, but the album credits are nevertheless extensive and eclectic – and stacked with bold-faced names. Lambert’s bananas for the whole pack – but in the rare instances where he had the opportunity to work with some of these idols in studio, he says his fandom wasn’t a liability.

“To be honest with you, I’m not that easily intimidated. I think that everybody’s human and I think that fame is kind of an illusion, to be honest,” he says.

That much-repeated Oprah show anecdote about how he was “intimidated” upon meeting Madonna was a rare exception, he says. And, OK, maybe you could consider Christina Aguilera fanboy-spaz fodder, as well.

“I think Christina Aguilera would be really interesting to perform with, and I think I might be a little starstruck by her because I respect her so much,” he admits.

Adam Lambert talks about his fashion inspirations in issue #17 of “Vman” magazine, which is set to hit newsstands on Thursday.
He is featured in the publication’s “How To Dress Like A Pop Star” section and he spoke about where he finds his inspiration.
He said, “What I do has been done before. It’s glam. I’m inspired by the ’70s and ’80s. Bowie is a huge influence. So are hair bands. Why must a crazy look necessarily be gay? Our society is more fearful, I guess. And they don’t party enough. Everyone was partying in the ’80s.”
Adam will be serving as a fashion correspondent for Entertainment Tonight’s Grammy coverage on February 1st.

In the wake of the devastating earthquake last week that left Haiti in ruins, ET and The Red Cross are teaming up with the Hollywood community to lend support to the major crisis in Haiti and now best-selling singer Adam Lambert has come exclusively to the ET stage to help in the effort.
“The people of Haiti need your help,” Lambert says. “The images are heartbreaking, the loss of life devastating, but tonight you can help the people of Haiti. Give whatever you can. Your contributions can help end the unimaginable suffering. Do something that will change a life, do something that will make a difference. Don’t just let the images on television fade to black.”

.
How you can help: Financial donations can be made at www.redcross.org, 1-800-REDCROSS or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish) or mail your donation to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013 or to your local American Red Cross chapter. The public can also help by texting “Haiti” to 90999 to send a $10 donation to the Red Cross, through an effort backed by the U.S. State Department. Funds will go to support American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is also helping to reconnect separated families within the country. They have established a special Web site, enabling persons in Haiti and abroad to search for and register the names of relatives missing since the earthquake: www.icrc.org/familylinks.
Hollywood is rallying to help Haiti in its time of need. With hundreds of thousands feared dead, George Clooney will host a telethon this Friday that will be broadcast by MTV, with Sting reportedly signed on. George’s pals Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have pledged $1 million in humanitarian relief, in addition to a number of other celebrities who have offered their time and money. The Red Cross has also opened its warehouse in Panama to provide tarps, mosquito nets and cooking sets for thousands of families. They say that clothes are not helpful right now because there is nowhere to store them, no one to sort them, and it would be difficult to transport the items to Haiti.
On partnering with ET, Julie Whitmer, Director Celebrity and Entertainment Outreach for the American Red Cross National Headquarters says, “Entertainment Tonight has been a tremendous partner in mobilizing the entertainment community following major domestic and international disasters. Those with a public voice have the power to use it to help others and we are deeply appreciative of their generosity.”
Watch tonight’s ET for more with Adam Lambert.

It’s not a big surprise that Adam Lambert would take the prize for Favorite Male Music Artist around here. And given Jason Mraz’s talent and recent blogging about gay marriage, his popularity makes sense. But among the write-in votes Kris Allen received huge support. Clearly, not everyone around here was on “Team Adam” for American Idol’s last season finale.
